Innobuild Private Limited, a subsidiary firm of Nasi Holdings, has described journalists as key partners in developing operations of the company.
Innobuild Chief Executive Officer, Billy Jonathan Chiotha, said this during an awarding ceremony of outstanding journalists and launch of its newly built offices called Innobuild House in Lilongwe.
Speaking during the luncheon organized by the company, Chiotha said the Company, has a total of 105 employees, has grown to where it is through, among others, support from the media.
Chiotha has since called upon the media fraternity to continue the cordial relationship it has established with the Company.
Chiotha said: “I would like to personally applaud the media fraternity for the great role they have played in promoting our brand by among others, providing us with coverage.
“Many Malawians, are now aware of our work through the media and it is in this regard that as a company, we decided to hold this luncheon event so that we may interact and share experiences.”
Meanwhile, Chiotha has called upon both the public and government to seriously consider empowering local industries.
One of the awardees, Brenard Mwanza of Luntha Television, has expressed delight for the special recognition.
“It’s an honour for me because this is something which I dint expect,” he said.
The company, which has been in existence for over a decade has sister companies namely; Inno Pay, Innobuild Trading and Advent Private Schools that are operating in sectors of education, technology, manufacturing, micro finance and general trading.
The company envisions to increase its number of branches from the initial eight to seventeen by the year 2025 and has estimated to employ about 250 to 300 people.
