Vice President Saulos Chilima has appealed to the citizenry to participate in the country’s economic development by venturing into viable businesses which will also help create jobs for others.
Chilima made the call when he toured projects in Lilongwe as part of the second phase of the public reforms review meetings.
Among others, Chilima stressed that everyone’s participation is key to enhance Malawi’s development and ensure that everyone is self-reliant.
During the tour, Chilima inspected Kauma Road under construction, Gwiritse Co-operative in Nsalu and Mpingu Youth Association.
