National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) has appealed to young people to ensure that they utilize the various technologies to their advantage by developing unique innovations.

NYCOM Public Relations Officer Yvonne Sundu told YFM Online that young people have so much innovative materials at their disposal which could allow them to prosper but only a few are actually using them wisely.

Sundu gave an example of the art industry which has a multitude of application which can be used to develop unique art forms that can be used to make a living.

“The coming in of new technology such as modern media devices, has simplified the art sector because some artists are able to use these media devices such as phones to create their work but also showcase it,” Sundu said.

She has since appealed to young people to wisely use these innovations and display their different works to the world.
