Police in Mulanje have apprehended a 20-year-old murder suspect Manuel Tebulo who has been on the run since October 2021.

Tebulo and three other suspects allegedly killed 30-year-old Symon Namadyeka in October 2021 by assaulting him with glass bottles.

Speaking to YFM, publicist for Mulanje Police, Gresham Ngwira said, they got a tip from community members that the suspect had returned on the night of June 21.

Police has hailed the good partnership between them and communities saying it will help them to keep sanity in the villages.
