Independent Schools Association of Malawi (Isama) has commended the Malawi National Examinations Board (Maneb) for the smooth commencement of this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination.
Isama president Wycliffe Chimwendo said they have not experienced any challenge in the first day of administration of the examination on Tuesday August 30, 2022.
Chimwendo said previously they encountered challenges before and even during the administration of the examination due to inadequate preparations by authorities.
“We commend MANEB for this just like other exams that have been administered like the recent PLSCE and JCE examinations because we used to have many challenges previously,” Chimwendo said.
A total of 152,589 candidates were expected to sit for this year’s MSCE exam where out of the total 80,340 were males and 72,249 were females.
