Consumers Association of Malawi (Cama) says President Lazarus Chakwera has no capacity to fix the current social and economic challenges facing the country.

In a statement, Cama Executive Director John Kapito said President Chakwera has no clear plan to fix the ailing economy but rather continue to make empty promises.

Kapito said Chakwera is failing to address all corruption cases claiming all suspects are linked to him.

Cama has appealed to government to conduct thorough investigations by competent authorities on the removal of Minister of Agriculture Lobin Lowe and his vice on alleged Affordable Input Programme (AIP) saga claiming this is a serious matter.
