Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) executive director Prof. Dorothy Nampota says all is set for this year’s national examinations which are set to commence on May 22, 2024.
According to a statement signed by Nampota, a total of 611, 144 learners are expected to sit for this year’s examinations both for PSLCE, JCE and MSCE.
Nampota says more female learners have registered to sit for this year’s PSLCE and JCE compared to male learners, adding that this has been a trend for the past two years.
“Similar to 2022 and 2023, more female candidates have registered to sit for PSLCE and JCE examinations than male candidates. The trend has also been the same for MSCE where more male candidates register and sit for the examinations as compared to female candidates,” reads part of the statement.
PSLCE examinations will be administered from May 22 -24, JCE from June 4 -13 while MSCE will begin on July 2 to 26.
