Zomba district is yet to receive the last chunk of the funds under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the 2023/2024 financial year, amounting to K225 million.

This was disclosed during the district council’s Full Council Meeting that was held on Thursday.

Member of Parliament for Zomba Malosa Constituency, Grace Kwelepeta it is sad that government is yet to disburse the funds even though the financial year ended on March 31, 2024.

Kwelepeta said the move has affected some of the development works in the district.
