Detectives have launched a manhunt for suspects who allegedly vandalised Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (Escom) transformer valued at K6.7 million.

The suspects vandalised the 100KVA capacity model transformer and stole copper wire and cables at St Paul’s Training Centre in Lilongwe during the night of July 06, 2024.
