Organisers of the Mulanje Peaks and Rhythms Festival have announced the return of the annual three-day celebration from August 30, 2024.
The festival’s director Michael Kwapata said this year’s fiesta will feature among other things, a variety of activities designed to engage participants of all ages through hiking the Mulanje Mountain, integrated sporting activities, captivating traditional dances and exhibitions of inspiring artistic work.
“This year’s festival is a celebration of cultural diversity and aims to showcase the rich heritage and vibrant tourism potential of Mulanje,” said Kwapata.
The event which seeks to among other things ensure youth participation in sustainable tourism practices, will dwell on the theme ‘Promoting Youth Involvement in Tourism, Reforestation and Cultural Arts for Environmental Sustainability’.
