Police at Nathenje in Lilongwe have recovered 25 drums full of tar valued at K10 million, and five empty tanks, suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained from road construction companies.

Meanwhile, police have arrested Gladson Banda, 42, of Kasiya Village, Traditional Authority Kalumbu, in Lilongwe District, for being found in possession of the items.

The suspect will appear in court soon to face a case of found in possession of property suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained.
