Community Focus Organization (COFO) on Friday donated multi-million-kwacha worth of medical supplies to Chikwawa district health office (DHO) to assist in improving healthcare delivery. 

The donated supplies include theatre equipment, beds and mattresses.

Board Chairperson, Pastor Ganizani Valantini, said his organization was impressed with how the office had managed past donations and this propelled them to provide further support.

Chikwawa District Hospital Administrator Hope Moyo, encouraged those responsible in handling the equipment to exercise utmost care to maintain the donors’ trust and ensure sustainability.

The donation was made with financial support from Bridge Kids, the University of Louisville and Supplies Overseas.
